USS Einstein “Galileo Tour” 230724

We met in the Command Room aboard the USS Einstein, where Capt Bravin formally welcomed Commander Beollain Roundell, who had joined the crew as Chief Medical Officer.

Capt Bravin then informed everyone that with the allegations that were made against Commander T'Preea, being unfounded and thereby dismissed (see "Tribunal" Mission 230717) he had appointed Cmdr T'Preea to be Executive Officer - in addition to her remaining as Chief Science Officer.

Whilst the ship was still moored at Galileo Station and taking on supplies - the opportunity was taken to have a familiarisation tour of Galileo Station, in order to be ready to assist on board the Station if needed in the event of an emergency or attack.
The tour therefore concentrated on key areas of the Station.

We started on the Bridge, where we found some similarity with the Bridge of the USS Einstein, but quite different in other respects.

We then went down to the Shuttle Bay - and were impressed with its size and the number of vessels there.
Ensign Salsa took the opportunity of sitting in the cockpit of one of the fighters.

We then had a good look around the Medical Deck, where I tried out one of the beds in Sick Bay under the supervision of Dr. Roundell.

We decided that we should go to the Security Deck and look in on Ray Dixon, who was confined to the Brig.
True to form, Ray Dixon started complaining about the accommodation and the food.
As soon he realised Dr Roundell was there, Ray Dixon suddenly decided that he was feeling unwell and wanted to be moved to Sick Bay. However Dr Roundell stated that readings on his tricorder showed that there was nothing wrong with him - much to the annoyance of Ray Dixon.
