Duty Log:
While on our regular patrol of the sector and while the Alpha shift was on the bridge Captain Roffo suddenly collapsed. I was fortunately on the bridge at the time and hurried over, ordering Sickbay to beam the Captain and myself down. I proceeded to scan the Captain to ascertain the reason for his collapse. Cmdr Narek Sivanek was given the Conn upon both the Captain's and my absence.
Meanwhile on the bridge a vessel was detected and it was found to be the Cardassian Warship, the Kraxon with Gul Lotek Bar in Command but minus his usual crony of ships. They must have been heavily damaged in our last altercation.
At this time Ft. Cpt Dolfke Barbosa took over the Conn while Cmdr Narek Sivanek was called away to Engineering. Fleet Captain Barbosa proceeded to engage the Gul in conversation where he was again reiterating his demand to board our ship. Ft. Cpt Barbosa let him know in no uncertain terms that this would not happen and audaciously bluffed the Gul by ordering the self destruct.
Unnoticed by most of the bridge crew immediately Cmdr Oola Quan and Lt. Ferre Flamand had silently been beamed away during the time of the crisis with the Captain. It was noticed that they were missing during the conversation with the Gul. Ft. Captain Barbosa had too much on her mind in dealing with Lotek Bar though our Science Officer Lt. Georgina Mills was smart enough to begin scanning for their whereabouts.
Cmdr Lancetti was ordered to give a 20 second count down to self destruct and near the end of this countdown when the Gul was most distracted the Fleet Captain ordered the Shogun to Warp out while firing on the Kraxon. We again caused the Kraxon major damage, as it was no match for the Shogun and easily escaped his reach.
Now we must focus on finding the whereabouts of our missing crew and what has befallen the Captain.
