USS Einstein “Delphi-Ran (part II)” Mission 230626

We met in the Command Room aboard the USS Einstein, where we discussed our earlier visit to the planet Delphi-Ran - as requested by Starfleet Command in order to see if it could be used for shore leave to rest and recuperate.
During our earlier visit we had found a cave in which there was water spurting from one of the walls and many large coloured crystals on the floor. Subsequent analysis of the water found it to be extremely pure and the crystals emitted a soothing resonance.
We went to the Transporter Room, from where we beamed back down to the surface -
landing near where we had previously exited from the cave.

A pathway led us up to the top of a hill, where we came across a strange saucer shaped stone structure, with torch-like flames beneath.
On further investigation we discovered that the saucer shaped structure turned out to be full of water that was being heated by the flames below.
We concluded that it was some form of a hot tub - and several of our party climbed in for a relaxing soak.

We carefully made our way down the hill to a hard standing at the top of some stairs.
From there we could see a circular area with some objects in the centre - which we made our way towards.
On arrival, we discovered that the objects were in fact massage tables - which we tried.

From there a pathway led to a relaxing seating area that we tried out

We continued walking along a pathway by the side of the river.
Along the way we came across many colourful mushrooms - that we stopped to investigate, but not eat.

Finally the pathway led us back to the cave and lake, where we had started our exploration.
I concluded that (subject to anything untoward being found in the various samples we had taken)  the planet seemed ideal for shore leave, offering a tranquil place to relax and recuperate.
As such I arranged for other members of the crew to beam down later from the ship, so that they might be able to enjoy a spot of shore leave.
