Members of the crew of the USS Einstein gathered in the Command Room, where Capt Bravin welcomed Ensign Pf'ttt Great as the new Tactical / Security Officer and introduced him to other members of the ship's crew.
As the exploration of the planet Einstein had been completed, Capt Bravin explained that the ship would now make its way back to Galileo Station.
Everyone took up their stations on the Bridge and when all was ready the ship left orbit of the planet Einstein and set course to Galileo Station.
Along the way to Galileo Station, Science reported an object ahead, which proved to be a starship moving very slowly.
We came to a stop and hailed the Starship - but received no response.
Scans of the ship showed that there were no life signs aboard - although there was breathable air.
As the Starship didn't pose a threat with there being no life signs detected aboard - but was breathable air, Capt Bravin asked LtCmdr Zela to lead an Away Team to investigate the Starship, whilst he stayed aboard the 'Einstein.
The Away Team met in the Transporter Room and teleported across to the Starship.
Once aboard the Starship, the Away Team discovered several Stasis-like chambers - 6 of which appeared to contain members of the Starship's crew, but 3 of them were empty.
It was then that the Away Team were surprised by the sudden appearance of an Android.
On questioning the Android, the Away Team learned that his function aboard was to "look after the ship and the crew". He had apparently been trying to wake up the 6 members of the crew for quite some time without success, adding that "things were not working correctly" and asked for help.
As regards the other members of the crew, all that the Away Team could gather from the Android was that "they went outside and were gone".
The Away Team considered whether to try and wake up the remaining crew members whilst still aboard the Starship or transport them in the chambers to Sickbay aboard the USS Einstein...........
