Chief Operations Log stardate 231602
After arriving on the ship I was informed by the Captain to get the ship ready to leave for our first away mission. I ran a system check and then proceeded to release the clamps and umbilical cord from the ship. On the Captain's order I guided the ship out of our mooring and set the course for the class C planet called Ircassia X111.
Once we were on our way I had an ensign take over so I could be shown where our quarters would be. I can't believe how big the ship is, one could get lost easily if they didn't pay attention to where they were going. The quarters are a nice size and I look forward to putting up some of my paintings.
I returned to the bridge and relieved the ensign and took over helm again. I informed the captain that we were now 2 days away from the planet.
