First day of the rest of my life

Yesterday was the day : we arrived at Galileo space station to pick up the rest of the staff officers and crew (including some fresh cadets). On arrival, there was a general staff meeting where our guidelines were explained. As I already mentioned, there are some cadets there, straight out of the academy, who need to be trained which may well create an additional workload. Of course, it all depends on how capable they are of putting the not-underestimated learning material into practice, because let's be honest: you learn best by doing. So OJT (on-the-job training) is the best solution. Afterwards, we were given a full tour by the captain and it has to be said : the Shogun is a huge feat of state-of-the-art engineering. It is certainly not a punishment to spend a few months on board. Over the next few days (knowing me), I'll still be going wrong a few times and it won't be easy to get anywhere quickly at my destination. But I don't think I will be the only one 🙂
