So we was up bright and early this morning, I finished my Latte a luxury from my Earth days, I then took a walk to flight control to make sure all my paperwork was good and all the supplies needed had been loaded, I said a jolly farewell to the flight staff and the Shipyard staff that had made sure my inventory had been got and loaded. Departure Time will be 10 AM so I took a walk back to the Mess Hall where I saw my crew just finishing breakfast, OK guys I said we depart in 60 minutes be by the shuttle in 30 minutes I hope you are all packed and ready it is going to be a long time for us as we make our way to Galileo Station, at this point I found a the comms array and sent a quick encrypted message which read " Shogun to USS Tyson and Feynman we are on our way".
We made our way down to the shuttle that will take us to the Shogun at this point we could see the Shogun in all her glory in her docking bay it was a wonderful sight. we boarded the shuttle and I said to the pilot take us into the Shoguns Cargo Bay the door is open, Some 5 minutes later we had arrived in our cargo bay I pressed the switch to close the Cargo bay doors so we could alight. we disembarked and headed straight for Shoguns Flight control, Oola opened a hailing channel and gave the shuttle it's final orders " Thank you Shuttle you are clear to depart " at the same time she opened the Cargo bay door, with that the shuttle lifted off and left the USS Shogun. Oola then said those words "Cargo door is closed USS Shogun is in ready state to depart", we then took the turbo lift to the bridge.
We then started our control checks all systems on I said, computer this is Captain Kestral Roffo please switch Command to me authorisation Roffo Hotel Sierra 2605. within seconds the computer acknowledged this order and repeated twice Command now is held by Captain Kestral Roffo. The crew sat at there stations and booted up there consoles, Oola please inform Shipyard flight control to release umbilical cord and withdraw docking clamps, I listened and heard the engines purring nicely, a message came back Shogun you are clear for departure safe travels and Godspeed. Helm 1/4 impulse until outer marker then cruising speed warp 5 let us make our way to our new home!!!!!!
