Today is the day we did all our final Preparation, my second officer and I did a risk assessment on all decks, we were looking to see what space we could utilise for extra supplies for our long mission to find the lost research and COMM's station who some say is a Myth, so we shall find out. we also departed Starfleet and gave our engines a good testing and travelled at Warp 10 for a short while. Casualties were low just six getting space sickness three of which were children but our medical staff did a good job of treating them, I have been told by medical all six are now recovered. I have decided that at night unless we are under attack B shift will reduce speed to Warp 5 this should aid some children in sleeping well. Having families onboard is very different so a lot of other factors are involved, but it is good for the crew to have there wife's and love ones on this journey with them,
