Really? <em>I don&#8217;t think so!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>OK, I know, I crashed a starship. And they cost squillions, <em>apparently.<\/em> But it&#8217;s not like I did it on purpose. I was at a 10-forward party (after a long shift on helm), the drinks were flowing, and someone (you know who you are <em>Ptuh<\/em>) dared me to do a colony flyover. It seemed like a FUN idea at the time.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In my defence, no one was killed\u2014it was a skeleton crew and starships have ample escape pods. And no colonist bodies were recovered either so that&#8217;s got to be a good sign. But really? Bathroom cleaning duties? For a year? And demoted to cadet. For a year! I&#8217;m a pilot dammit. A river to my people.
