CDR Cameron, Abigail has been assigned as temporary Captain of USS Tempest.<\/p>\n
Captain’s Log<\/p>\n
Tempest was ordered to patrol the warp corridor between Kepler Station and the Treaty Port serving the trade zone between the borders of the Romulan Empire and the Orion Confederation. While en-route, we received a priority hail from Starfleet Command. The Vulcan Expeditionary Service lost contact with the VES Khrasaya, a survey vessel that was on a mission to analyze a newly mapped stellar nursery coreward in the Alpha quadrant.<\/p>\n
Tempest moved to intercept the last known location of the Khrasaya and begin a search along that course. While moving along that course, we discovered an uncharted dark nebular mass and began our analysis of the phenomenon.<\/p>\n
Because of the nature of this region, we will attempt entry to see if the VES vessel can be located within.<\/p>\n
